- Select the account you would like to deposit the check into, and carefully input the amount listed on the check
- Flatten folded or crumpled checks before taking your photos
- Keep the check within the view finder on the camera screen when capturing your photos, try not to get too much of the areas surrounding the check
- Place your check on a solid, dark background in a well-lit area before taking the photos
- Keep your phone flat and steady above the check when taking your photos, hold the camera as square to the check as possible to reduce corner to corner skew
- Make sure the entire check image is visible and in focus before submitting your deposit
- Be sure no shadows are across the check; all four corners are visible and the check is not blurry before submitting your deposit
- The MICR (numbers on the bottom of your check) is readable
*Checks that are not properly endorsed will NOT be processed and must be endorsed properly and resubmitted.*
